Viktrix Cyber was founded in Aberdeen, UK, by Victor Obahor, a cybersecurity engineer and technical architect with over six years building secure cloud platforms and security automation engines — including time as a security researcher at Wazuh, the open-source SIEM/EDR platform that protects millions of endpoints worldwide.
After years of watching SMBs get priced out of real security operations, Victor set out to build something different: Vindex, a SOC where specialised AI agents handle the volume — reading every alert, enriching it with threat intelligence, and containing high-confidence threats at machine speed — while human analysts own every consequential decision.
WHY WE EXIST
The breach that no one saw coming — until two weeks later.
UK SMBs are the primary target for ransomware groups and supply chain attacks. They hold valuable data, they run on Microsoft infrastructure, and — unlike enterprises — they typically don't have a SOC. The security they do have is usually a managed antivirus that sends alerts no one reads.
The problem isn't that the threat isn't taken seriously. It's that the tooling to address it has always been priced, packaged, and designed for organisations ten times the size. Most SMBs that get breached had something: a firewall, an AV, maybe a SIEM. They just didn't have anyone watching it.
